Colorado State University Tour & Information Session, 10/16/14

Yesterday, I had the chance to visit one of the Colorado universities that is highly ranked in many aspects. The college was very nice and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the campus. We also had the chance to visit the town of Fort Collins.

Our tour started at "Ammons Hall" or the University Welcome Center. We met the admissions counselor for Lone Tree/Highlands Ranch, named Elizabeth Zentner. She is a Vegas resident who fell in love with the CSU campus and was the main leader for the campus information. She was so excited to be there and was so much fun to be around. I introduced myself and got some info on the business school. Here are some pictures from our tour.
Pretty view on the campus, this is the Monfort Quad.
A good luck tradition at CSU to rub the nose.
The "prettiest view on campus," coined by many CSU students and our tour guide.
Rec Center. Classes were going on and are included in tuition fees!
Visiting a dorm. I sure got a reality check when I realized how small the dorms are.

After, we explored the town of Fort Collins. Mom and I ate at Austin's and got some cupcakes at Butter Cream Cupcakes. YUMMY! Here are our pictures.

I really enjoyed the CSU/Fort Collins feel. It's very different from Boulder, so fit is everything! The colors and mascot are kind of fun and I could see myself there (possibly). At the end of yesterday, I was undecided on what I wanted to do. However, I visited CU Boulder for a Be A CU Student for a Day program and really enjoyed it.

QOTD: "The CSU logo looks like the Starbucks logo. Can you say con-fu-sing?" -Mom, on this logo:
I love the beautiful state of Colorado, that I am lucky enough to live in everyday!
