Fast Cars and Wild Goose Chases

Buonaserra from Florence! Today was another very fun day in Italy. We started our morning by getting breakfast at the hotel and then packing up our stuff. We were out of the hotel and on the road by 9:45 in the morning.
But before we could go anywhere, we stopped at the same place that we checked out yesterday to see if the lighting was any better. Mom got out of the car to go see. This picture is the result:
After we finished with that, we took a trip to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. It was really cool to see all of the models and test drive a real car. The boys were totally into it, and mom found the car she wants.
We went to Pitlane next to drive a cherry red California Ferrari. Totally cool, and we got up to 200 km/h. Now if I could only get these knots out of my hair... ;)
We then drove straight to Florence from Maranello. It was a pretty cool drive and we got to pass the Tuscan hillside on our way. When we arrived in Florence, we took a trip to the scenic overlook. This was a really cool way to start our days in Florence. (The dome is awesome!!)

And we also had quite the adventure trying to find dinner! Mom really wanted to go to a place reccomended by the guy at the front desk. It was called Pizzeria Caffe Italiano. No matter how hard we looked (or tried navigation on our phones or map), we couldn't find it. After a long time searching for it, we ended up deciding on another place. We ate at Ristorante Bargello Pizzeria. I had a ravioli Bolognese and really enjoyed it- one of my favorite meals so far. Here's a picture of it:

Here's a quick shoutout to one of the four horses dad saw (and clapped for) in Florence today. His narration for this picture is "Haaay man, this hay is ahwesommmee."

QOTD: "We don't build cars, we build dreams." -Ferrari
